Our Raison D’etre, our purpose as an institution is to provide you with the ability to create a design that represents you or represents the love you have for someone else. Every aspect of the design, from the metal, to the gemstone, to the polish, represents something of meaning. There is a reason why you decide to choose these things, and why they look particularly special to only you.

The purpose of any art or jewellery is to make you feel something. Everytime that you look down to see YOUR design, YOUR jewellery, YOUR art; it should rekindle that special emotion you felt as you were designing it, that special emotion and feeling you felt when you first wore it or gave it to a special person…
For THAT is the purpose of this artform.

A design with true beauty and meaning can only be made by you!

Our company was created as an answer to these questions:

  • What defines the value of Jewellery?

  • What makes jewellery and art special?

  • Does the jewellery industry value/price jewellery on brand rather than design and material?

  • Is the industry currently operating with the best interests of the people in mind?

  • Can we change the industry?

The quality of jewellery has an objective monetary value and its meaning can only be created by you, not by an outside entity.

Liberty Through Design

This motto conceptualises our identity. We want to create something which allows this industry and people who love jewellery and understand what it represents, to have access to something that liberates it from all things that may confine it. Jewellery, art, and even businesses should promote freedom and access rather than subvert it.

A company should not charge exorbitant prices for jewellery. There should not be a 200% difference between the price of making the jewellery and the price of selling it. A saphire will always be a saphire, and a diamond will always be a diamond. Excellence and luxury is created by the symbyosis of a visionary who imagines the design and a craftsman who brings it to life. That is the synergy that matters. That is what we offer. It is your dream design and it is our duty to make it happen with integrity and fairness so you can be proud of all aspects of the result!

We want to do things that will provide a better service for the people we are lucky enough to serve. Whilst we fundamentally disagree with some of the current aspects of the industry, we do not want to build an identity or legacy built upon a precipice of conflict with our competitors. Rather we hope that our way of transparency and integrity sets an example so that the people who want to explore this artform all benefit from it.

Before emarking on this endevour, I was trained to become a barrister. I have a special appreciation for the law because in its own way it is elegant and artistic. Laws are made to be logical, fair and for the benefit of all!

As a person who loves and wears jewellery, I know how special it can be. Before an interview or before heading into court I would look at my jewellery and remember the feeling of confidence and pride it gave me. Even if what I was about to do was completely overwhelming, the jewellery I wore reminded me of the love and support that people that was poured into each piece, from those who chose it and those who made it. These shiny objects are majestic because of what they represent to us personally. They can give us strength, confidence and courage to take on each day!

We created this company to provide something that did not exist, and to provide people with something special and uncompromised by beuracracy, corporate greed or mundane industrialisation.

My legal background compels me to inform you of your staturory rights as a consumer. We are very confident in the quality we provide. And if our quality ever fell short of the standards we expect of ourselves and the standards YOU deserve; there are laws which protect you.

For example in the UK you have the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This overrides any single company rule about refunds. If the product you receive is not:

  • As described; or

  • Fit for purpose; or

  • Of Satisfactory Quality;

Then you are entitled to a refund BY LAW. If you are an EU customer; The Sale Of Goods Directive is there to protect your rights. For peace of mind and assurance; always be aware of your rights as a consumer!

The obligations we place on ourselves to deliver an outstanding service are far more onerous than what any lawmaker may set.
