Your Investment

Your budget is a very important part of the process. It serves as an investment in the production of your jewellery, and helps us decide the following:

With PRISMA, your money buys more c/karats

Our innovative way addresses a problem with the industry. Your money will be going to your ART not a Brand.

If your design costs less than your stated investment;

We will provide a breakdown of the costs required to bring your design to life so you only spend what is neccessary and keep the difference. As with every one of our designs, we will not proceed with anything until we have your approval.

If your design costs more than your stated investment;

We will explain, in full, what the design truly costs — and then present concepts that honour it within your investment. Where a stone must change or a weight must be reduced, you will see it, understand it, and choose it yourself. (EXAMPLE: if you chose sapphire we may suggest an alternative that better matches your budget such as a blue topaz or iolite)

    The apportioning of your investment in your design:


    1. The Core: Materials (~75%)
    We believe the overwhelming majority of your investment should go to the creation of your design. This is what matters, the vibrance and quality of what you wear.

    2. The Craft: Artistry (~20%)
    This covers the design process, expert CAD modeling, consulting, and extraordinary craftsmanship. A great design requires a symbiosis of quality materials and someone worthy of putting it all together!

    3. The Trust: Provenance (~5%)
    This covers independent gemstone certification, hallmarking, your PRISMA certificate of ownership, shipping and more. Your art and identity will live forever!

    The current hegemony of jewellery retail sellers allocate a SIGNIFICANT part of their pricing to branding and image. Meaning your investment is going to the brand rather than the materials and design. Our model reallocates that value back into the materials of your piece. Luxury and art belongs to all!

  • The Assurance of Value

    Once you have chosen your design, we will ask you for your budget. This is an important part of the process!

    Your budget serves as an investment in the materials used in your design and will decide the following:

    • If your design can be created for less than your stated investment, we will quote you the actual price so you only spend what is necessary. Payment will only be taken after you have chosen and approved one of the concepts/designs we provide you.

    • If the money needed to create your design exceeds your stated investment;

      • We will send you a breakdown of the costs involved in producing that chosen design and sending it to you; and

      • A quote/sample of how we can meet your budget with adjustments made to individual parts(for example if you chose saphire gemstone we may select the closest alternative: blue topaz or iolite) (another example is we will use however many carats of your chosen gemstone your investment can buy and then use alternatives for the rest of the design like Quartz)

    With PRISMA, your Money buys more carats!

  • The creation of Your Magnum Opus

    Once the budget and the design have been ascertained by us, we will then send you at least 3x qoutes/concepts of your design.

    • 1 or 2 samples will be directly tied to your budget and exact design. We will also include extra samples that match your design, with some additions made by our lead jewellers that we think you may like!

    *We aim to send our concepts within the same working day! If we expect delays in providing your concept design we will let you know!

    • The designs we send to you as samples will be made using CAD technology or alternative methods depending on what yields the best results specifically for you!

    • Your design concepts will be sent by email, allowing you to select which design and price is right for you.

    • You will then be able to choose which sample you prefer and we will then send you an invoice and take payment.

    The process is simple and intended so that we are always available for communication should you need it!
